A true visionary, Chiara Bell is the founder and CEO of Careticker, a caregiver engagement platform that enables managed medicaid plans, dual eligible payors and accountable care organizations to engage, incentivize and reward their covered member’s primary family caregiver. The Careticker CareGraph analytics solution provides health plans with new insights into patient compliance and improving outcomes for high risk populations. As founder and CEO of Careticker, she leads the vision and strategy for the company.
Prior to founding Careticker, Chiara was CEO and founder of ENURGI, an online marketplace for finding qualified caregivers to support people in need of home care. ENURGI aggregated over 2.5 million profiles of professional caregivers including RN’s, LPN’s, certified nursing assistants and home health aides. Chiara was unique in identifying the fast growing market of connecting home care providers directly with patients and families in need of home care. ENURGI was one of the first in the nation to disrupt the antiquated “agency” model in homecare a $50B plus market. In 2008, ENURGI was acquired by Univita Health, a Genstar backed company led by industry veterans Ben Lytle (former Chairman/CEO Anthem and Wellpoint) and Hugh Lytle (former CEO of Axia Healthcare). After leading Univita’s consumer web and mobile division, she founded Careticker, once again identifying a ripe area for disruption in healthcare.
Prior to Enurgi, Chiara served as Vice President of Business Affairs overseeing the operations and mergers/acquisitions for one of the nation’s largest, privately owned Post AcuteCare Management company. The asset portfolio consisted of rural and urban skilled nursing facilities (SNF’s) with national operations, primarily serving Medicaid and Medicare populations. In partnership with the Chairman and CEO, she oversaw all merger and acquisition activity for the company including due diligence, capital restructuring, financing and operations. During her tenure, Chiara led the growth of the company through multiple portfolio acquisitions totaling 75 postacute facilities, 10,000 employees and approximately $650million in annual revenues.
Chiara earned her JD from Albany Law School and has a BA in American Studies with honors from Fordham University.
